In June, 2008, New Hartford Community Connections, Inc. was able to distribute $13,770 to area non-profit organizations, out of funds raised by ad sales for the 2008 directory. Here’s where the money went:

• Bakerville Library – $2,000 to power wash and paint the building; $500 to convert sandwich board signs to use changeable letters.

• Celestial Gaits – $500 for therapeutic horseback riding.
